Microsoft 365 Management

Microsoft 365, licensed and managed properly

Microsoft 365 runs your email, files and meetings, and most businesses use a fraction of what they pay for while leaving default security settings in place. We license it, secure it and manage it, and we deal with Microsoft so you don't have to.

Why it matters

What's at stake for your business

Defaults aren't secure enough

A tenant left on default settings is easier to break into. Security policies need to be configured on purpose.

Licenses drift

People leave, roles change and businesses keep paying for licenses nobody uses, or the wrong ones.

Compliance lives here

Retention, encryption and audit logging for HIPAA and financial rules are configured in Microsoft 365.

What's included

Everything Microsoft 365 Management covers

Licensing at market rate

Business, Enterprise, Exchange, Copilot and Teams Rooms licenses, matched to what each user actually needs.

User management

New users, changes and departures, license procurement and renewals.

Tenant security

Security and policy configuration, including MFA and protections against account takeover.

Compliance settings

Retention, encryption and audit logging configured for your regulations.

Escalation to Microsoft

When Microsoft is the problem, we open the case and push it to resolution.

  • Monitoring Proactive monitoring and protection, with support when you need it. Built for businesses with in-house IT.
  • Managed A fully managed IT department: help desk, security, backup and vendor coordination.
  • Compliance Everything in Managed, plus the monitoring, training and reporting regulated industries need.

Questions

Common questions

More answers on our Q&A page, or ask our assistant in the corner.

Which Microsoft 365 plan is right for a small business?

It depends on what you need to protect. Business Basic covers email and Teams in the browser, Business Standard adds the desktop Office apps, and Business Premium adds advanced security and device management, which is what we recommend for most businesses handling sensitive data. We license Microsoft 365 at market rate and match each user to the plan they actually need.

Does Microsoft back up our email and OneDrive files?

Not in the way most people assume. Microsoft keeps the service running and retains deleted items for a limited time, but it is not designed to restore everything after ransomware, a malicious insider or a mistake discovered months later. That is why our plans include a separate Microsoft 365 backup for email and files.

Can you move us to Microsoft 365 from another email provider?

Yes. We plan the move, migrate mailboxes, calendars and contacts, update your domain records, and set up phones and computers so staff can pick up where they left off. We schedule the cutover to minimize disruption and configure security from day one, rather than migrating first and securing later.

Someone is sending emails that look like they came from us. How do we stop it?

That is domain spoofing, and the fix is three DNS records: SPF lists which servers may send mail for your domain, DKIM signs your messages, and DMARC tells other mail systems to reject anything that fails those checks. Set up correctly, they stop criminals from impersonating you and also improve the delivery of your legitimate email.
