Endpoint & Identity Security
Protection for every device and every login
Attackers either trick a person, steal a password or exploit a weak device. We layer protection across all three, so a single mistake doesn't become a breach.
Why it matters
What's at stake for your business
Antivirus alone isn't enough
Modern attacks use legitimate tools and new code that signature-based antivirus misses. Detection has to watch behavior.
Passwords get stolen
Stolen credentials are the most common way in. Multi-factor authentication stops the vast majority of those attempts.
Insurers ask
Cyber insurance applications routinely ask about EDR, MFA and vulnerability management. You need real answers.
What's included
Everything Endpoint & Identity Security covers
Endpoint detection and response
Behavior-based protection on every computer and server, with automatic quarantine of threats.
Identity threat detection
Monitoring of Microsoft 365 accounts for suspicious sign-ins and account takeover, with response when something looks wrong.
Multi-factor authentication
MFA rolled out with hands-on help for your users, plus access management so people only reach what they need.
Vulnerability scanning
Routine scans of your environment with prioritized remediation, so the most dangerous gaps close first.
Business password management
A shared, secure way to store and share company passwords instead of spreadsheets and sticky notes.
How it works
How we deliver it
- 01
Assess
We review current protection, admin rights, MFA coverage and known vulnerabilities.
- 02
Deploy
EDR goes on every device and identity monitoring is turned on for your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- 03
Harden
MFA rollout, admin rights restricted, encryption enforced, and our security baseline met.
- 04
Respond
Threats are quarantined automatically and investigated by our team, and you hear from us in plain English.
Is it right for you?
A strong fit if…
- You're relying on free or built-in antivirus
- Not every account has MFA turned on
- Your cyber insurance renewal is asking hard questions
- You handle client, patient or financial data
Not sure? A free assessment reviews your environment and tells you plainly what you need and what you don't.
How it's delivered
We don't sell services one at a time. This service is delivered through our plans, priced on your actual devices, users and servers, so you only pay for what you have.
- Monitoring Proactive monitoring and protection, with support when you need it. Built for businesses with in-house IT.
- Managed A fully managed IT department: help desk, security, backup and vendor coordination.
- Compliance Everything in Managed, plus the monitoring, training and reporting regulated industries need.
A free assessment tells you which plan fits and gives you an exact monthly quote.
Get a free assessmentIs free or built-in antivirus enough for a business?
Not on its own. Traditional antivirus looks for known bad files, and modern attacks often use legitimate tools or brand-new code that slips past it. Managed endpoint detection and response (EDR) watches for suspicious behavior, quarantines threats automatically and is backed by security analysts. Every computer on our plans gets EDR, not just antivirus.
What is multi-factor authentication, and do we need it?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) asks for a second proof, usually a code or an approval on your phone, on top of your password. Stolen passwords are the most common way attackers get in, and MFA blocks the vast majority of those attempts. It is part of our security baseline for every client, and most cyber insurance applications ask whether you have it on email and remote access.
What security controls do cyber insurance companies require?
Requirements vary by carrier, but applications commonly ask about multi-factor authentication on email and remote access, endpoint detection and response, tested and off-site backups, regular patching, and security awareness training. Answering "yes" when the control isn't really in place can put a claim at risk, so it pays to verify. We help clients complete these questionnaires accurately and close the gaps first.
What should we do if we think we have been hacked or hit by ransomware?
Disconnect the affected computer from the network (unplug the cable or turn off Wi-Fi) but don't power it off, and don't pay or reply to anyone. Then call us right away at (717) 695-8611. Acting quickly limits the damage, preserves evidence your insurer may need, and lets us start recovery from clean backups.
Are small businesses really targets for cyberattacks?
Yes. Most attacks are automated and opportunistic: criminals send phishing emails and scan for weak logins at huge scale, and small businesses are attractive because they usually have the least protection. Ransomware, business email compromise and invoice fraud hit offices of every size. The good news is that a few basics stop most of these attacks.
