Help Desk & On-Site Support

IT support from people who already know your systems

When something stops working, your team needs an answer from someone who knows your environment, not a script. Our help desk handles everyday requests remotely and sends a field technician when the fix needs hands on.

Why it matters

What's at stake for your business

Downtime is expensive

Every hour someone can't print, log in or open a file is an hour of payroll producing nothing. Fast, informed help keeps small problems small.

Context saves time

Because we manage your systems day to day, we start from your documentation instead of asking you to explain your network from scratch.

One number to call

Computers, printers, Microsoft 365, phones or the internet: your staff calls one place and we take it from there.

What's included

Everything Help Desk & On-Site Support covers

Remote help desk

Unlimited remote support on our managed plans, so nobody hesitates to ask for help.

Impact-based triage

Every request is triaged and prioritized by business impact. A down server outranks a new desktop shortcut.

Field technicians

Hands-on troubleshooting, new equipment setup, cabling and network work at your office.

After-hours emergencies

Outages that stop your business can be handled after hours.

Routine administration

New and departing users, password resets, permissions, printers and file shares.

Documentation that grows

Each fix adds to your environment's documentation, so the next request is faster.

How it works

How we deliver it

  1. 01

    Ask

Call, email or use the support portal. Requests are logged so nothing gets lost.

  2. 02

    Triage

We assess the business impact and assign the right technician.

  3. 03

    Resolve

Most issues are fixed remotely. If not, a technician comes on-site.

  4. 04

    Prevent

Recurring problems get a root-cause fix, not just a reboot.

Is it right for you?

A strong fit if…

  • Your staff loses time to IT problems with nobody to call
  • You're relying on a "tech-savvy" employee to do IT on the side
  • Your current provider is slow to respond or doesn't know your setup
  • You need someone on-site for hardware, cabling or office changes

Not sure? A free assessment reviews your environment and tells you plainly what you need and what you don't.

How it's delivered

We don't sell services one at a time. This service is delivered through our plans, priced on your actual devices, users and servers, so you only pay for what you have.

  • Monitoring Proactive monitoring and protection, with support when you need it. Built for businesses with in-house IT.
  • Managed A fully managed IT department: help desk, security, backup and vendor coordination.
  • Compliance Everything in Managed, plus the monitoring, training and reporting regulated industries need.

A free assessment tells you which plan fits and gives you an exact monthly quote.

Questions

Common questions

More answers on our Q&A page, or ask our assistant in the corner.

What are your support hours, and do you help after hours?

Our office is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm. Outages that stop your business can be handled after hours on our plans. Current clients can reach support at help@alliancecomp.com or (717) 695-8611.

How hard is it to switch IT providers?

Less disruptive than most people expect. We start by documenting your environment, then collect admin credentials, licenses and vendor contacts, deploy monitoring and security, and verify backups, coordinating with your current provider where possible. Your staff mostly notices a new support number and faster answers.

Is managed IT cheaper than calling someone when something breaks?

Break-fix looks cheaper until something goes wrong, and then you pay for the emergency, the downtime and the rushed fix all at once. A managed plan turns that into a flat, budgeted cost and changes the incentive: we earn more when your systems run smoothly, not when they fail. For most businesses the bigger savings are in avoided downtime and avoided incidents.
